England here I come!

Hey Hey Hey Peoples!! This month did not start very successful for me, like you’ve read in my last post. But now, it’s actually getting better! I’m going to visit my aunt in England for a while. And I’m really excited about that. I’m going to stay there a month for sure. So I hope the college answers my letters before I leave to England. If not, I have to figure out something. But it will be OK.

Right now I’m looking at websites for fly tickets. I’ve called KLM – Dutch Airlines already. But it felt they were going to screw me over with the price. So I said I would book the ticket on their website. haha. lol. Later on I was looking at this Expedia.nl and they were expensive too! So I was going to see what some American Airlines had to offer, and I went to Expedia.com there I found out it was cheaper to buy at Expedia.com then Expedia.nl… Make sense? I think it’s weird.. But it saves me about 100 euros to buy it there..

I don’t know if I’ve mentioned, But I don’t have to work anymore. We figured out that I was making way to much overtime for my contract. So my boss said that I could stop earlier then expected. So now, I’m just chilling a little bit and still making money.. Love it! haha. I went to the beach with my brothers and that was really neat. I did got sunburned though.. but that was something I can live with!

It’s amazing how fast this month went by! I have been working 6 days a week, Making crazy hours.. But it was fun! and that’s what matters. So I still have to get my paper work done and send it in to PPCC. Will do that soon, in August.

I think I’m ready for August.. Then stuff will get a little easier. And hopefully my work schedule will be a little better. And ohh!! my birthday is coming up! The 24th of August I’ll be turning 19! yay!! haha.

Further then that I don’t really know what to say … Oh well! I do have a new project to work on. I’ll be making the new website of the company called “Flying Hammer Fabrication” located in Arizona. So that’s pretty sweet! I thought that would be a cool project to work on!

New Month — New Beginning.

Today it’s Wednesday July 1st. No work for me, so it has been a pretty good day already for me! haha. July and August are going to be crazy at work. This weekend all the kids get off school and start summer. So most families will start their vacation July 4th. They said in the news that most people in Holland stay in the country this year. Because of the economy crisis or something? lol? I think it’s bull.. But we don’t care. Hopefully our campsite will be full all time this summer. That gives us lots of work to do! Keeping busy is always good, makes the day go faster.

So I will be turning 19th on August 24th. I’m thinking of going to England with a friend of mine, to go see my aunt. She lives in Wales. Sounds like fun doesn’t? It’s just a plan though.. I’m looking into it and hope it’s really going to happen. hehe. Also, I’m still working on the paper work for PPCC (College in Colorado) I hope to have that all done in August too. Then I know for sure If I can get back or not. I have already sent in the online app. so I am going to do EMS (Emergency Medical Services).

Further then that, I have nothing to say. It’s just going to be a crazy summer this year!

To the Hospital

It was kind of hard to fall a sleep last night.. But I did sleep, so that’s good. This morning I woke up early because my mom called me. She said that I had to go to the hospital to take pictures of my leg. They found what have hit my leg. It was a big nail kind of looking thing. See picture.

So I went to the hospital, let them take a picture. And they told me there was nothing in. So I was relieved. haha.

Lawn Mowing Accident

Today my colleague (Vincent) and I worked outside on some camp fields on our campsite. We were both working really hard and tried to get it done on time. But then he came by with this big lawn mower a couple times, like we usually do.

I was doing the rakes and my face was the opposite way of the lawn mower. But then, I felt like someone punched me really hard with a wooden stick against my leg. So I turned around and I was pretty much jumping around, because it was hurting like a B^$%H. So then Vincent stopped the lawn mower and asked if I was OK. I told him my leg was hurting really bad.. So he looked down and I did too.. That’s when we saw I was bleeding pretty bad.

So he ran to the reception room to get the First Aid kit. Got me hooked up with some nice bandage crepe and then my other colleague a.k.a. Mom brought me to the doctor. Mr. Doctor gave me two sutures. One at the top and one at the bottom. First he looked if there was nothing in, and there wasn’t .. at least he said so. haha. The wound was/is pretty deep ~ about 3 cm (1.18110236 inch) and 1.5 cm wide (0.590551181 inch). He gave me a little paper to get some drugs against the bacteria.

So now, i’m just sitting here… my leg feels stiff and it sucks! I’m sure i’ll sleep bad tonight. So leave me some comments to tell me how sorry you are!

What school program?

The last couple months…. Well since i’m back in Holland from my exchange program trip. I have been working really hard to save up money for college. At this time I work 6 days a week, it’s pretty cool but harsh sometimes. I’m already glad when it’s not raining and the sun is shining outside. So now I still have 5 months left to work at the camp site and bungalow park until my contract is over.

Hopefully by then I have saved up enough money to attend college in Colorado Springs area. I still have absolutely no idea what i’m going to do, though. I have looked at the programs of Pikes Peak Community College; which you can find HERE. They have pretty sweet programs to offer, so I might go there.. and it’s effort able. But then again, it might be better for me to attend a University. It’s all so hard to figure out. I have no clue what I want to do.. there are lots of Colleges and University’s available. But I have been to Pikes Peak already, so I know how they work. well .. kind of. haha.

Mmhhmm, well I guess I have some research to do.. So i’ll get back to you’ll later! If you think you can help me, or give me some information! Leave a comment or contact me!

13-year-old in control

This post is not for today’s May 3rd, It was supposed for May 1st. Haha. Yeah… I’m kind of slow… Work you know? .. So, on May 1st my brother went to work with my dad. My dad is a carpenter. One of my dad’s colleague’s which actually works at a crane company my dad works with came by, with his 1 million euro crane to do some stuff for work.. after he almost got done, he told my brother to go sit in the crane.. And he did. He could do some heavy lifting haha. Of course my brother was really excited to be in control of this heavy, expensive and 100 times bigger then him machine.
